This tool is the best thing since sliced bread. Works awesome on a 2 1/2" hose. I used this tool on a motel fire in the winter, and needless to say it helps move an icy hose very easily. Can't wait to train with this thing for repeling. Great tool!! Will definetly spread the word.

I got to use The Bowring on my first fire today! Loved it, we had a single wide trailer with the metal siding. I sent a guy back to the truck to get a hook, when I remembered i had this tool in my pocket. I had 2/3s the siding and skirting tore off before he got back. Just shoved The Bowring thru the metal and pulled. It was a great tool for checking the walls for fire.... THanks a Ton

I purchased the bowring at FDIC in march after seeing it at the booth and seeing the video. I am pleased on how the bowring worked for me. Last shift day we had 3 working fires and I was able to use the bowring in all 3 fires. The first fire we had i used the bowring to advance hoseline and to hold the nozzel in a much better position. I also used it to bust through drywall for some overhauling. The other 2 fires I used it for handeling the hose line and advancin g the hose line. In all this has been the best purchase I have made regarding a tool for work. I will suggest the bowring to anyone that asks about it. Its a great product and i am very happy that I purchased it, well I should say that Im very happy that my fiance purchased it for me. Thanks guys. You make a great product!

Several members at our station purchased the Bowring and just received it a few days ago. Today was the first day that we trained with the bowring and were all amazed at how it made handling 2 1/2" hose much easier. We were able to advance while flowing water and made several turns with friction points. We are all very satisfied and can't wait to catch a job and use it for real. Thank you for a well thought out product that is made in the USA.

I have owned one of these tools since it was produced. It is by far the best personal fire tool on the market. I have introduced it to some of my firends in the Houston Fire Dept and they are using it daily. On all types of calls mainly fires. This tool is spreading fast in that part of the country. Great tool Guys!!!

Comments: I seen this tool on youtube went to the website and made my purchase. I planned on using it for hose advancement due to limited manpower. We had a house fire on 01/23/2010. I and one firefighter Tim Howson went enroute. I was the driver upon arrivial found a one story ranch with fire thru the roof on the B C corner I placed the engine into pump Tim pulled the line and made a defensive attack to the B side I put my scba on and went to assist him and we went to move the hose from the B side to C side I then remembered the BOWRING tool was in my gear Tim had seen the video on how to use it... So the very 1st fire of the year I turned the BOWRING tool over so Tim and he used it to advance the 2 inch hose while I was pulled to do a primary search as soon as extra manpower arrived. To let everyone Tim said it works great!! And it was one of my better purchases... FYI next time Tim will be sent to do the search and the BOWRING and I will advance hose. I am and so is Tim amazed with the versiatility of the tool. Great job and made in the U.S.A.

Comments: On 29 July 09 we responded to a 3500 sq ft house with the 2nd and 3rd floors totally involved. Our Engine went to C side and drafted from a swimming pool. I deployed an 1 3/4 through a fence, around the pool, and up a ladder with the Bowring tool. It helped incredibly! When on the ladder I found fire in the eaves and used the Bowring to punch through and pull out the wood paneling to gain nozzle access. Glad I had it in my bunker pants.

Comments: On July 16, 2009 @0230 hrs E5 and RL1 was sent on an auto accident with injury. Upon arrival companies found a single car accident. The car struck a tree and rolled on its side. The Captain called for a Glass cutting tool to remove the windshield in order to gain access to the patient. I used the "Bowring" tool to remove the windshield and by my self had it cut out before the other firefighter returned with the glass cutting tool.
